Esther, a 14-year-old Toronto girl, has been found safe.

She disappeared two weeks ago.

Her family and police were deeply concerned for her well-being because she is on the autism spectrum and left her house without her shoes or cellphone.

Police say Esther was found in a home around 1 p.m. but offered no details about who lived there, how officers tracked her down or how long she had been there.

They say Esther, who is on the autism spectrum, looks to be in “good physical health” and is being assessed in hospital.

Police say no arrests have been made as the investigation turns to whether any crimes have been committed.
