21st annual Great Holiday Food Drive is Friday

610 CKTB’s 21st annual Great Holiday Food Drive is Friday, December 12th, 2025.

We are broadcasting live from Market Square, in downtown St. Catharines, until 6 o’clock, collecting food and cash donations to support 10 food banks.

If you’re heading down to Market Square, you will be able to see the Art Feeding Niagara challenge from 7-9 a.m., the Jingle Jamboree from 9-11 a.m. featuring performances by local schools, and a competition called The Great Shopping Cart Race from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also this year, a Holiday Sing-A-Long, from 3:45-5:00 p.m., as the community can sing with local choirs.

Meantime, there are several events taking place all across Niagara, including Project Share’s breakfast at St. Andrew’s Church on Morrison Street in Niagara Falls from 7-10 a.m.

Community Care of West Niagara has partnered with the Meridian Credit Union in Vineland this year to collect donations, including some photos with Santa this afternoon, and a chance to win a prize.

A number of other food banks are hosting food drive blitzes at local grocery stores.
