22-Year-Old Hamilton Man Facing Multiple Child Exploitation Charges

A Hamilton man is facing several child sexual abuse and exploitation-related charges following an investigation by the Niagara Regional Police Service into alleged online and in-person offences involving teenage victims.

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit of the Niagara Regional Police Service launched an investigation after receiving information about alleged sexual assault involving a young person.

Investigators say they uncovered evidence that the accused befriended teenage victims and allegedly offered vape pens or marijuana in exchange for sexual acts.

Police also allege the individual operated across multiple jurisdictions, including Niagara, Hamilton, and Waterloo.

Following the investigation, the suspect was arrested in Hamilton on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Twenty-two-year-old Tywante Adrian Jakwon Davidson-Baptiste of Hamilton is charged with the following offences:

  • Making sexually explicit material available to a child
  • Making child sexual abuse and exploitation material
  • Making child sexual abuse and exploitation material available
  • Fail to comply with release order

Davidson-Baptiste is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing and believe there may be additional victims.
