Niagara Police have identified a suspect involved in the death of a woman found at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln earlier this week.
The remains of 27-year-old Amanpreet Saini of North York were found Tuesday morning at the popular park on the Lake Ontario shoreline.
Police on Thursday classified the death as a homicide, and now have identified 27-year-old Manpreet Singh of Brampton as a suspect in the case.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Singh for second degree murder.
Investigators believe Singh fled the country shortly after Amanpreet’s body was discovered.
It’s also believed that this was a targeted attack, and there is no threat to public safety.
