A 46-year-old Niagara Falls man is facing charges after the Internet Child Exploitation Unit launched an investigation.
Niagara Police say child sexual abuse and exploitation material was found on an electronic storage device.
Detectives from the ICE Unit and the Technological Crimes Unit began a joint investigation into the matter which led to an arrest today.
46-year-old Joseph Petonoquot of Niagara Falls has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material x2, Accessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material, and Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order.
