Five people are facing charges after Niagara Regional Police seized close to $80,000 dollars in drugs.
Detectives started their investigation last month when a suspect was spotted travelling throughout the region and showing signs of drug trafficking.
On Tuesday, police arrested two suspects, who were allegedly seen dealing drugs from a vehicle.
Three homes and a vehicle were then searched, and another three people were arrested.
Police seizing 160 grams of suspected fentanyl, 280 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 137 grams of suspected cocaine, 62 tablets of suspected oxycodone, $8620 Canadian Currency, and 1 Spring-loaded knife.
27-year-old Belaluddin Shahabuddin and 25-year-old Kyle Chesire from Niagara Falls, along with 27-year-old Janelle Mcleod of Thorold, 58-year-old Trevor Avery, and 54-year-old Terry Gray, both from St. Catharines have been arrested and charged.
