The Buffalo Sabres are in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs after the longest drought in NHL history.

The team, under Head Coach Lindy Ruff, clinched a spot as Atlantic Division champions, ending a 14-season playoff drought.

They will face the Boston Bruins in the first round, with Game 1 scheduled for Sunday, April 19, at KeyBank Center.

If the Sabres advance to Round 2, they will face the winner of the series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Sabres are hosting free official Sabrehood Block Parties for every home playoff game at Canalside.

Canalside will feature a large screen, on-stage entertainment, and food and beer trucks.

It is free to attend, and no ticket is required.
