Charges have been laid after a transport truck lost its wheel in Fort Erie.
Niagara OPP say it happened back on Friday, November 7th, at 12 p.m., on the Toronto bound QEW near Netherby Road.
Luckily, the wheel didn’t hit any other vehicles.
The 37-year-old driver from Winnipeg, and the corporate owner of the truck from Alberta, were both charged with multiple violations of the highway traffic act.
OPP say drivers and commercial vehicle owners have a responsibility to ensure their vehicles are being maintained properly and are operated safely.
