A new documentary aims to share the incredible life of Burd Sisler.
The Fort Erie resident passed away last week at the age of 110 but not before Abraam Dawod wrapped up the film title “Burd”.
The short film covers the life of Burd who was born in Ohio and served in the Canadian military during the second world war.
Dawod says they were able to show the completed film to Burd before his passing.
They are submitting it to various film festivals and hopefully get a broadcaster to help share the project with the country.
