Crime Stoppers and the Niagara Sexual Assault Centre are hoping to catch those that are spiking drinks in the region.
The issue continues to be prevalent in Niagara and the organizations have come together for a campaign called ‘Drink Safe’.
Tricia Cosgrove says the issue is widespread and tough to catch as many of the drugs that are used are colourless and odourless.
The ‘Drink Safe’ campaign includes staff training on prevention and response for establishments that sign up.
When completed you will find the business listed online and they will have a A ‘Drink Safe Certified’ window sticker.
Crimestoppers is also offering a one-thousand dollar guaranteed reward for any tip that leads to a drink spiking arrest during September.
