Environment Canada is issuing a heat warning for Niagara today.
The first heat event of the season will begin this afternoon and is expected to continue into Tuesday.
The weather agency is reporting daytime highs of 30 degrees Celsius, with humidex values near 36.
They’re reminding residents to watch for the early signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others.
Drink water often, close blinds and shades, and turn on your air conditioning.
