Gas prices will drop a few cents overnight.
Dan McTeague, President for Canadians for Affordable Energy, says prices will drop 5 cents overnight for regular, and diesel prices will also drop 7 cents a litre.
McTeague says while there is a deal between America and Iran to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, it will take about a year for prices to regulate.
Gas prices are about 30 cents higher year over year.
