Hamilton Police Seek Help Identifying Pickup Truck After Stoney Creek Collision Involving Child on Scooter

Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a collision that left an 8-year-old girl injured in Stoney Creek.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on May 18 near Barton Street and McNeilly Road. Police say the young girl was riding her scooter when she was struck by a vehicle.

Investigators initially believed the child had suffered serious injuries, but have since confirmed her injuries were minor.

Police are continuing to search for a maroon pickup truck towing a trailer that was involved in the collision. A still image of the vehicle has been released in hopes someone may recognize it.
