Jacob is doing well in his new home.
The dog was brought in two months ago by the Humane Society of Greater Niagara.
He was found severely emaciated and abandoned near the George Nicholson Memorial Trail in St. Catharines.
After receiving care at the Humane Society Jacob has a new home with Jamie and Sheila Graus.
Sheila says Jacob has been out to meet the neighbours and even visited the retirement home where she works.
