The investigation continues after a deadly tent fire early this morning.
Police were called to a wooded area in Mountain Locks Park, behind The Keg on Glendale Ave., at 3:15 a.m. to find an active fire involving a tent.
St. Catharines Fire arrived to put out the blaze, and that’s when officials discovered the body of a man.
Police say the Criminal Investigative Branch has taken carriage of the investigation, in co-operation with the Ontario Fire Marshall.
It was bitterly cold at the time of the fire, with the temperature sitting at -10, without the windchill.
