There are lots of holiday-related events being held in Niagara this weekend.
It all starts Friday night in Niagara-on-the-Lake with the annual Candlelight Stroll from 6 to 9 p.m.
Participants will stroll the streets of the Heritage District while enjoying holiday performances from Niagara-area musical groups.
Candles are $5 and proceeds will be going to Pink Pearl Canada, an organization which helps women with cancer.
The annual Pelham Winterfest Market returns to downtown Fonthill Friday from 4-9 p.m.
There will be live music, food, vendors, visits with Santa, and an artificial ice rink this year.
There are also two Santa Claus Parades in Niagara.
The 68th annual Grimsby Santa Claus Parade will be held Saturday afternoon starting at 5:15 p.m.
The theme this year is ‘Canadian Christmas Spirit’, and will start at Blessed Trinity high school, and end downtown.
Port Colborne will host its traditional Lighted Santa Claus Parade in the downtown core starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Before the parade, Santa will once again arrive by tugboat at 1 p.m., and then stop by West Street (near the Pilot House) to meet residents at The Guild Hall on Charlotte Street.
