A strike has been averted at Niagara Parks.
OPSEU Local 217 says a tentative deal has been reached that will keep over 850 Niagara Parks employees on the job today.
The workers have been without a contract since last year.
There are no details on the deal but the union was demanding fair wage increases to keep up with inflation.
Workers are expected to look over the deal and vote on it tomorrow.
