A park is closed in Lincoln, on the Lake Ontario waterfront, following the discovery of human remains.
Niagara Police were called to Charles Daley Park on the North Service Road at 11 a.m. today.
Police have closed off the park to the public for the investigation, however the service road remains open to traffic.
The park has been in the news recently after an alleged car jacking and hit-and-run in July.
82-year-old Larry Pearce, a retired firefighter in St. Catharines, was killed when a suspect stole his vehicle, and struck him.
50-year-old Davy Rocchetti has been charged with murder in the case.
