The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre in Niagara-on-the-Lake is celebrating a large donation.

The Hummel Family has made a $125,000 donation over five years to support the Arts Centre’s mission to advance lifelong discovery and learning through the arts.

In recognition of this gift, the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre’s largest gallery space will be known as the Hummel Family Room for the next five years.

“Art has always been an important part of our family’s life, and we believe strongly in its ability to bring people together and enrich a community, said Rainer Hummel. The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre plays a vital role in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and we are honoured to support its mission and help ensure that art remains accessible to all“”
