OPP are investigating after an elderly man was struck and killed as he was walking along QEW in Hamilton.
It happened around midnight with police on scene through the early morning hours on Sunday.
Detectives say a pedestrian, believed to be new to the area, was hit by a car that remained at the scene, but may have been hit by other vehicles that did not stop.
Police believe one of the cars that did not remain was a Honda and that it sustained front end damage on the driver’s side.
Police say the driver may not know what they hit and are urging them and any other motorists who were travelling on Queen Elizabeth Way approaching Fruitland Road late Saturday/Early Sunday to come forward.
