For the second time this year Niagara Police are investigating a case of animals remains being left in public places in St. Catharines.

On Monday, June 15, officers were called to Arthur Street Park where animal remains were found.

Police say the case is suspicious.

Detectives are looking to speak with anyone who may have been at the park between Saturday, June 13 and Monday, June 15.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at (905) 688-4111, option 3, extension 1009756.

Residents and businesses in the area are asked to review any video surveillance footage and contact police if anything suspicious is observed.

Back in March, police arrested a 45-year-old man after animal remains were left in public places on Welland Avenue.

Christopher Parrent was charged with Publicly Exhibit Disgusting Object (3 counts), and Indecent Exhibition (2 counts).
