Police looking for vehicle involved in violent home invasion in Thorold

Niagara Police have released pictures of vehicle believed to be involved in a violent home invasion in Thorold.

Police were called at 3:30 Friday morning to reports of a home invasion at a home in the neighbourhood northeast of Merritt Road and Hwy 406 in Port Robinson.

Officers arrived on scene to learn that the suspects had fled.

The homeowners reported that three men, all wearing masks, forced their way into the house with guns, demanding items.

No shots were fired, however two occupants suffered minor injuries.

The three suspects are described as Black, 5’10, with a medium build.

They were wearing all black clothing, black ski masks, and gloves.

The three suspects fled to an awaiting vehicle being driven by a fourth unknown suspect.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2004-2007 Jaguar S Type four-door sedan, gold or silver in colour.

Detectives are asking for anyone in the area who may have dashcam or other security footage to contact them at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1019777.
