Niagara Regional Police have raided a drug lab in Niagara Falls.
Police say they were called to a commercial plaza on Saturday afternoon near the area of Portage Road and Colborne Street.
The initial call was for an odour coming from an adjacent business.
Niagara Falls Fire crews detected unusually high levels of volatile organic compounds.
The next day police searched the building and seized more than 30-thousand dollars of suspected drugs and over 10-thousand dollars in cash.
Yesterday police arrested 32-year-old Niagara Falls native Kristopher Burnett-Ackerman.
He is facing a slew of drug related charges.
The OPP Clandestine Lab Investigation Response Team was brought in to safely dismantle the lab.
