It is Niagara’s first snow day of the year with a snowfall warning continuing.

Snow started last night, and will continue into the afternoon hours.

Up to 30 cm. is possible by the time the system moves out of the region late today.

You can expect reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow.

“A low pressure system will continue to bring significant snowfall to much of southern Ontario. Very cold wind chills by this morning will add to the adverse weather conditions.”

Schools are closed in Niagara, and our Storm Desk is open, listing weather-related cancellations.
