A special weather statement has been issued for Niagara with rain, and possible freezing rain, in Wednesday’s forecast.
Environment Canada says the rain will begin early Wednesday morning and continue into the evening hours with 15 to 25 mm. possible.
There is also a risk of freezing rain with temperatures hovering near the freezing mark.
Warnings may be issued as the event draws closer.
