Habitat for Humanity Niagara is inviting the community to ‘Spring into Action’ with the ReStore.
Operations Director at Habitat for Humanity Niagara, Al Rolleman, says spring is the perfect time to refresh your space and take on home improvement projects.
The ReStore is a social enterprise retailer where all proceeds fund Habitat for Humanity and help build homes in the community for families in need of a safe, affordable place to live.
Residents can shop for affordable home improvement items and donate gently used appliances, furniture, home décor, tools and building materials, while supporting a meaningful cause.
There are three ReStores in the Niagara region, in Fonthill, St. Catharines and Grimsby.
The stores are also accepting donations which help keeps quality materials out of landfills.
“Behind every donation and every purchase is a family’s future, says Rolleman. Spring into Action reminds us that what may feel small to one person can mean everything to another. Donating gently used furniture, home goods and building materials keeps usable items out of landfills while shopping at the ReStore directly helps build safe affordable homes right here in Niagara. Together we are turning generosity into real lasting impact.”
