The Bridge-it Ferry is launching today.
Located in Port Robinson, Thorold’s Bridge-it Ferry will shuttle people across the Welland Canal.
The ferry helps provide hikers and cyclists direct access between Thorold and Niagara Falls.
The route follows Grassybrook Road and links to the Niagara River Recreational Trail.
It’s the only ferry service on the Welland canal, and operates from May to October every year.
Hours of operation will run from 9am to 8pm daily over the summer.
