An investigation is underway after a train derailed in St. Catharines.
It happened this morning just east of Glendale Avenue.
Niagara Regional Police say traffic is not impacted along Glendale Avenue.
There were no injuries and CN Police are investigating the incident.
CN says a non-dangerous good called polyethylene, a product used in the manufacturing of household plastics, spilled from one of the railcars, however, there is no danger to the public.
The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation says there are currently no impacts to vessel traffic on Welland Canal.
GO Transit says service to Niagara will end at Confederation Station until the issue is cleared.
GO passengers looking to travel to St. Catharines and Niagara Falls should get off at Burlington and transfer to the 12 GO bus.
