Niagara Police have charged two people after a deadly motorcycle crash in Pelham.

It was on the evening of April 27th when a mini van and two motorcycles were involved in the crash on Highway 20, west of Maple Street.

Police say a minivan turned into a driveway, with one motorcycle slamming into the passenger side of the vehicle, and the other driver of the motorcycle loosing control and hitting the ground.

The driver of the bike that hit the van, a 30-year-old Port Colborne man, died from his injuries.

The female driver of the other motorcycle suffered minor injuries.

Police say they have now charged the 19-year-old man from Port Colborne who was driving the van with Careless Driving Causing Death.

They have also charged the driver of the motorcycle, a 27-year-old woman from West Lincoln, with driving with an improper license, and not having insurance.
