The City of Welland is preparing for Earth Day next month.
The city hosting a free tree giveaway, the Earth Day Extravaganza at the Welland Farmers Market, and a city-wide community clean-up.

The Earth Day Extravaganza includes family-friendly activities, a charity barbecue, and organizations will also be onsite with environmental information.

Garbage bags for the clean-up will be available for pickup at the market, and residents can help by collecting litter in parks, open spaces, and along trails throughout the city.
